Plants are remarkably complex. Lavender, chamomile, calendula, helichrysum, and other botanicals contain naturally occurring compounds such as terpenes, flavonoids, and other phytochemicals that have been studied for their antioxidant, soothing, and skin-supportive properties. Aromatherapy takes this a step further by using concentrated aromatic plant extracts- essential oils.

These oils are selected not simply because they smell beautiful, but because of their unique chemistry. That science is the heart of Sanare Botanicals.

Created by a registered nurse and certified aromatherapist, Sanare Botanicals was born from a desire to bring together two worlds that are too often treated as opposites:

modern science and traditional plant knowledge.

Every formula begins with a question: What does the skin actually need? - Then we look at the plants.

We thoughtfully pair botanical oils, butters, waxes, herbal infusions, and essential oils to create simple, purposeful formulas without filling the jar with ingredients just because they are conventional or inexpensive. This isn’t about believing that everything natural is good or everything synthetic is bad. Chemistry exists in nature, too. It’s about understanding ingredients, respecting their chemistry, using them appropriately, and choosing formulations with intention.

Your skin is your body’s largest organ. It’s a living, protective barrier that works every day to defend, regulate, and restore.
